Rob's Vanity Fair Available on March 3rd - Interview Details

ETA: More info via Gossip Cop

Robert Pattinson poses with an alligator on the April 2011 cover of Vanity Fair, Gossip Cop is told.

Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz shot pics of the superstar for the mag’s cover story, which is tied to the release of Pattinson’s upcoming film Water for Elephants.

As for the four-foot reptile, Pattinson’s alligator pal is a nod to the Louisiana set of Breaking Dawn.

In the profile, sources tell Gossip Cop, Pattinson does not discuss his relationship with Kristen Stewart.

Mostly, we hear that Pattinson comes across as a genuinely good guy and reluctant star.

@twmmy, hey woman, ITA with your comment. I saw big things for this guy in Harry Potter, who knew that Edward would be the movie that would shoot him to super stardom. I see Twilight being made in 20 years time and it being a far better film than the one we have, I can guarantee it. Rob brought us Edward, but it is Edward in the book that I admire. Rob is only just hitting his stride I am looking for far better things from him in the future.

I can't wait for this, he looks so stunning and very old Hollywood leading man.

For me, it's always been about Rob. He's the sole reason I ever heard of Twilight or Edward. He does excellent in that role but my current favorite is actually Tyler in Remember Me. I have a feeling Jacob in Water For Elephants will challenge that.

RPLife thanks as always for keeping us updated.
