Stephen Moyer Mentions Rob and Kristen in a new interview

GM: What do you make of the current vampire craze? It really shows no sign of abating.

SM: It doesn’t seem to be abating. It’s one of those unanswerable questions because when you think it’s one thing, it turns out to be another. … I think in the teen world, there’s a beautiful romance about that stuff. I believe this year the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart characters [in the "Twilight" saga] have a baby. It’s this perfect romance, this perfect ideal. Ours isn’t quite as fluffy as that … our characters and the way that Alan works is, as soon as a character has a semblance of happiness, he digs a hole for them to drive into.

Just a quiet whisper - Stephen, the romance not only for the teens. We, adult women need romance too. And we found it in the Twilight and in Midnight sun... and a little in the other books(New Moon more suffer than romance, Eclipse is about what- help me, and Breakind Dawn, -eh!). But we found a perfect portrayal of a man who we need. Edward. and we found Rob Pattinson who gave life to Edward.

@twmmy ITA and thank you for voicing my exact thoughts! Some seem to just dismiss Twilight as only a "teen thing" which could not be further from the truth.

@twmmy ITA with you as well. Although Twilight is the favorite of the books and movies for me personally it was the forbidden aspect of that romance, the book explored such obstacles that these two teens must fight against but that most "women" have to meet (not vampirism, just a metaphor) in their own relationships that have us swooning over this book and saga.

@Calihi27, on a personal note, I just wanted to let you know you made me smile and laugh on another blog on a comment you made for Fathers Day. You are a gifted commenter. It made my day, because my father passed away when I was 8, your words were sweet and yet charming. Thanks for the smile.

Steve said "teen world" because Bella is a teen and Edward too, in some ways - but also in other ways he isn't. He didn't say that only teens like Twilight.

@Parise, maybe you are right, but then why he compares the two ... they are not in the teen world.... But I think there is no reason to compare the two , because they are two different story... One is a simply love story in 4 movie films, the other is a tv-serie with love and criminal stuff.
