Lovely movie. Stayed very close to the book. Thought Rob was amazing (did you have any doubt?) Went to the movie with 3 others and we all agreed it was really good. Will be seeing it again - of course.

I went to the movie with a friend who is not a Robert Pattinson fan and she enjoyed the movie and Rob, so I think I can call this movie a success even for those who are not Robert Pattinson fans. I thought the second Rob saw Rosie the movie improved so much. I still might have jet lag from my trip to NYC for the premiere, so to me it dragged a bit at the beginning. He has grown and it is so good to see. I enjoyed it and will return for a second viewing with other friends. Christoph was amazing as well as Tai playing Rosie. My eyes watered with Hal Holbrook, knowing about the passing of his beloved wife, Dixie, it boded well to the storyline and it broke my heart. Rob should be proud of this performance, I know I am and he is getting better with each film he performs in, now I can hardly wait to see Cosmopolis. The only thing I wish that had been in this movie is Rob holding the baby, I would have been in seventh heaven with that. You can't have everything. A very good movie.

You went to to NY for the Premier so you saw our boy ....I am sure you might have written about your meeting with Rob....I didn't read it..is it anywhere on the thread...? Hope rest of our favs comes in often ...Love to you and everyone else....If anyone here who have not watched plese go watch it..you won't be disppointed.....

I saw the movie yesterday and today. It was wonderful, living up to every expectation. You do catch more on the second viewing. Rob is great as are Reese and Christoph. My grandaughter, a big Twilight fan, said that Rob looks more grown up in this film. The camera just loves him! The crowd I saw it with seemed to love it, clapping at the end.Check tis out if you haven't yet. More positive than negative reviews so far. It's a great film!

I just wanted to add to everyone comments on the movie.

It was a beautiful piece of work. Barnone. There wasn't a moment of down time to think; you where on a ride until the end. Rob has grown up and gotten to show a different part of what he is and I like that about him. I hope that what ever he does do in the future will show all of us more. Thanks Rob. Keep it going. :)

OMG, Mrs. Deen, so good to hear from you. Yes I attended the premiere with JA. We had a fabulous time. Stood in line for 14 hours to receive a wristband to get VIP viewing of the premiere. We saw Rob and got autographs and pics. He is so good looking, there are no words. I hope you will join us for the BD premiere in November. We are planning on attending that as well. I have Film of Rob at the premiere plus at the Today show that we went to the next day. It was a very exhausting but memorable time. I am so happy I went. He was truly good to the fans. He got there early, I guess he heard that we stood in heavy rain just to get wristbands for that area. He autographed or took pics with people in that area. 250 people were lucky to get in that area. We were on the rail, so it was really nice. Reese was beautiful, they were the only two who walked by the fans, the other actors in the film were just on the Red carpet, which was a bit of a disappointment, but at least we had Rob. Pls, come back regularly we miss you and twilightnan, JA, Yaelfica, and Twilola are on here most of the time. I am so happy you enjoyed the movie.
