ITN talks about Rob's appearence at Hope for Haiti Telethon and more info about the event

The video says that is not known if Kristen or Taylor will make an appearence at the event. According to Gossip Cop, they wont.

And Mirror.co.uk has more info about the London part of the Hope for Haiti Telethon.

U2 and Jay-Z have already "written, finished and recorded" a song in aid of the Haiti earthquake disaster appeal, according to guitarist The Edge.

He told Irish radio station 2FM it was done and dusted last week and it's hoped he, Bono and Jay-Z will perform it in London on Friday as part of a "group performance" as part of Friday's Hope For Haiti telethon.

George Clooney's two-hour benefit show will be aired on MTV in the UK.

The BBC reports that The Edge told 2FM DJ Dave Fanning over the weekend: "Bono got a call from a producer, Swizz. He and Jay-Z wanted to do something for Haiti.

"So Bono came up with the phrase on the phone and last night we were here, we wrote a song, finished, recorded, and sent it back to them. So, that might be the next thing you hear from us."

It's also been reported that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is set to lend his weight to the fund-raising TV marathon on Friday.

Other stars tipped to pitch in include Wyclef Jean, Sheryl Crow, Sting, Kid Rock, Mary J Blige, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen and Keith Urban.

All money raised from the telethon, which will be broadcast here in the early hours of Saturday morning, will go to Oxfam America, Red Cross, Unicef, Partners in Health and Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti Foundation.
