Rob's Speech for the New Hollywood Award and 'LIFE' Premiere at the Deauville Film Festival

Rob couldn't attend the LIFE French Premiere at the Deauville Film Festival today and the New Hollywood Award due to filming commitment for The Lost City of Z, but he sent a message that was shown during the premiere. Here it is :)

Rob To Receive New Hollywood Award at Deauville Film Festival + New Still of Rob as Dennis Stock

The official Twitter account of the Deauville Film Festival just tweeted the best news from the festival's press conference: Rob will receive the New Hollywood Award. Congrats!
And they also treated us with a great new still of Rob as Dennis Stock :)

We are waiting for more information on dates and confirmation that Rob will attend. A few weeks ago we made a post about the Life premiere at the Festival on September 5 (the same day as The Childhood of a Leader premiere at Venice Film Festival) but we will see :)

Rob and The Rover Nominated for The Australia Film Critics Association (AFCA) Film Awards


The Australia Film Critics Association (AFCA) has announced the nominees for the 2015 AFCA Film Awards and The Rover scored 6 nominations - including Rob for best actor in a supporting role!

The AFCA Film Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony on February 7th at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne.

Rob and The Rover Nominated at the 4th AACTA Awards


Rob and The Rover cast and crew have been nominated at the 4th AACTA Awards.

Rob has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

- Guy Pearce for Best Lead Actor.
- Susan Prior for Best Supporting Actress.
- David Michôd for Best Direction.

- Sam Petty, Des Kenneally, Justine Angus, Brooke Trezise, Francis Ward Lindsay and Robert Mackenzie for Best Sound.
