'Queen Of The Desert' Will Have Its US Premiere As One Of The Special Screenings at AFI Fest 2015


Update: The AFI FEST schedule has been revealed and now we know the day and time of the Queen of the Desert screening and US Premiere: November 8 - 8:45pm at the Egyptian Theater.. Check the Queen of The Desert page at the AFI FEST site here.

AFI FEST has also revealed today its Special Screenings section, which will feature 45 YEARS (DIR Andrew Haigh); ANOMALISA (DIR Charlie Kaufman & Duke Johnson, AFI Class of 2006); CAROL (DIR Todd Haynes); LAST DAYS IN THE DESERT (DIR Rodrigo García); THE LOBSTER (DIR Yorgos Lanthimos); MACBETH (DIR Justin Kurzel); and QUEEN OF THE DESERT (DIR Werner Herzog).

'Maps To The Stars' TIFF Premiere on September 9 - Rob Scheduled to Attend


TIFF 2014's schedule has been revealed and now we know the date of the 'Maps To The Stars' North American premiere: September 9th at 9:30pm

Rob's name is included in the guest list of celebrities attending the festival.

Maps To The Stars Will Be At Toronto International Film Festival 2014 - Gala Presentation

'Maps To The Stars' will have its North American Premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.

The film will be part of the Gala section of TIFF as announced in a press conference earlier today in Toronto.

The Festival will take place from September 4 to 14, 2014.

Bel Ami Confirmed at Berlin Film Festival!

Bel Ami, the period drama starring Twilight heart throb Robert Pattinson with Uma Thurman will have its world premiere out of competition at the Berlin international film festival.

The drama, the feature debut of Brit directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, is based on a novel by French writer Guy de Maupassant and is the story of a young man’s rise to power in Paris. Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott Thomas and Colm Meaney also star.

The full Berlin line-up will be announced in the coming weeks. The 62nd Berlinale runs Feb.9-19.

'The Summer House' at Cannes Film Festival


RobertPattinsonOnline has been able to confirm that The Summer House, a short film that Rob filmed a couple years ago, is making it's debut at the Cannes Film Festival. The film will be shown at the Short Film Corner on Thursday, May 14th and Friday, May 15.

We’re excited to announce the release of How To Be in the UK! The film will be available from Network Releasing on DVD and iTunes download beginning 18 May 2009. The DVD is available for pre-order now from Amazon , Play and other DVD retailers. If you aren’t in the UK then don’t worry, the DVD will hopefully be available all over the world soon. You are welcome to order the UK version right away if you can't wait, but please check your DVD player is compatible.

Leading up to the UK DVD release, there will be several UK screenings of How To Be in May. We’re in the process of sorting a few final details, but see below for the list of dates and cinema locations, and stay tuned for updates, and hope to see you there!

Rob attending Cannes Film Festival?


Voici.fr is reporting that Rob will be attending the Cannes Film Festival to support his future film project with Summit Entertainment. Their website states: Robert Pattinson arrive en France dans quelques jours. Which translates, “Robert Pattinson arrives in France in a few days."
No official confirmation from Summit or Rob's team has been reported regarding his plans to attend.
The Cannes Film Festival runs from May 13th to the 24th.

Rob to attend Minneapolis Int FF?


According to Jessica Armbruster at City Pages Rob may be at the Minneapolis Int FF this Monday for the “” after-screening party.
The after-screening party is at 9 p.m. this Monday, April 20 in the Clubhouse Lounge of Brit’s Pub (1110 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis; 612.332.3908). Cast and crew are slated to be in attendance. Robert Pattinson may be in attendance as well. The press release I was sent followed his name with three exclamation points, so make of that what you will. There will also be live music from Fran King and Duncan Maitland as well.
