It's the first picture I like. the others are too gloomy for me. But this is the 'old' handsome man, whom I fell fangirling. :)
Lucy, I went on the Dior site and complained about that very thing. How can they keep this away from such a big portion of the world!
Usually its the actor who says where them campaign will ns will not appear. A lot of performers don't want their commercial work appearing in the US. The fact that this campaign is not going to appear on either the US or UK is very telling I think in terms of Rob's comfort level with the whole thing. Call me crazy but I just don't think he's into it and doesn't want to be seen as a hearthrob by either the film industry or in his home county. Only explanation that makes sense for the ads not appearing here.
justsaying, this was my thought too. I remember how many ads didn't aired in US, what we'd seen here in Hungary.
I'm jus curious, what was the real reason he did this.

There's no nudity in the spot. That was hype from the Daily Mail. But if that were the case they could edit it for the US and UK.
@justsaying That actually makes sense. I remember reading an interview where he said he wasn't interested in this kind of thing. Or fashion. I think he said he didn't know why a guy would be interested in doing this kind of campaign. I wonder who talked him into it. Even though they won't officially air here, we're all going to see them, so I don't see why it matters if they air here or not.

I think he realizes you need outside projects to earn the money to do smaller roles or independent features or to start a production company, or obtain rights to books and make music. That is why Clooney and Pitt plus many more do it, I do believe that could of been the reason he agreed to do the Dior Homme ad.
I wonder if he had much to do with choosing the scent itself. I have no idea how these things are developed. It will be sold here in the US, right?
