Robert Pattinson confirms vamp caesarean in Breaking Dawn

Twihards, rejoice. Robert Pattinson tells Total Film that the scene where his character performs a caesarean with his teeth on wife, Bella (Kristen Stewart), has been filmed for the final part of the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn.

He's currently juggling filming with promotion duties on his new non-vamp flick Water For Elephants, and chatted to TF while in LA.

"Yeah, I’ve done it," RPattz laughed, "I’ve chewed it, spat it out!"

Though he's not allowed to give much more away (joking with Ryan Seacrest recently that he gets 'beaten' for revealing details), Pattinson promises that Breaking Dawn will be "very different to the other films - more like a horror film."

"Just some of the source material makes it inevitably more different. It's completely nuts, the book."

Water For Elephants opens on May 4. For more on the film grab Total Film Magazine on 14 April.

WFE opens in US April 22nd, right? So looking forward to seeing this movie. Rob is so handsome and his accent is very sexy.

totally agree Jane, his accent is sexy and it's amazing how he's speaking without his accent. WFE is in cinema 5/5 in Holland so I'll have to wait a little bit longer but It's worth it isn't it?

ITA with Robert that the last book is nuts. The first portion with the wedding and honeymoon, just lovely, after that I was disappointed. So it will be interesting how Bill Condon and Melissa Rosenberg have tweaked it. At least the true fans of the book will be pleased that they kept the caesarean birth, I heard many wanted that scene in the movie. I also agree with Jane and Suus WFE first, maybe even Bel Ami if we are lucky. His voice is velvet whether in his natural voice or speaking another dialect, his face and voice will serve him well.

I am personally not excited for this scene. I loved the beginning of the book . . . then they were too many characters added. Then a gory birth scene? ick
