Robert Pattinson is sexy, but it's hard to deny the impact that his character, Edward Cullen, has had on his skyrocket to fame. In this USA Today Weekend Edition, Robert Pattinson addresses the fact that so many fans seem unable to differentiate between him and his character Edward Cullen, saying, "Right at the beginning, everyone just called me Edward. I don't really mind either way. There's something about that character that, for some reason, has sparked an interest in massive degrees in so many different people. If you want to compete with your own character, you have to really fight. I don't know if I could be bothered to fight. I just let it go by." So, we want to know which do you prefer — the real life Robert Pattinson or the fictional Edward Cullen who is so dreamy?

Even though Edward is everything we want in a guy. Good looking, sweet, protective, unselfish, and I could keep going and going. But, he isn't real, although we wish he were, I love me some Robert Pattinson. HAHA. He seems like he would be a down to earth person, nice and shy among other things. Thats just my opinion. Oh and Rob amazing at everything he does....music, acting, etc.
I love Edward, he's such an incredible character with amazing traits you wouldn't find in an everyday man. But Rob is very charming, down-to-earth and humbling. Either way I think both of them are great guys. ;) Edward has my heart though.

For me, it's Edward all the way. I liked Edward's looks in Twilight but find Edward's looks in New Moon different. Although I loved Rob's naivete and humor, he seems to have sold out to the studio.
For me it's Robert Pattinson he's real!Edward is great but he's only a "book and movie charactar"
Ugh, how to choose? How to choose? Lol like most of us I love them both, however because everything I know about Rob is from the tabloids, (which we all know talk complete s***, other than maybe one or two comments here & there) I don't feel like I know the real him. I don't even know if He lets ANYONE see it other than family & close trusted friends. Everything he does is under such scrutiny, he can't be unaware of it & act accordingly to the best of his ability.
Anyway, in conclution much as I love the thought of them BOTH, I feel like I really know Edward much more intimatly than Rob, so for me it's Edward :)
It's true, Edward may have brought me to the party, but I am leaving with Rob!! Love everything about that man! There has never been anyone quite like him. Rob all the way!
well lets face it...edward its a a bunch of ink splattered on A LOT of paper from a womans fantasies(sorry the spelling..) dont get me wrong i bought the books and read them all and love the caracter BUT rob is the real guy...without him edward is all of the above haha...WITH ROB ALL THE WAYYYYYYYY
Hands down - I love love love Robert Pattinson!! I think I enjoy watching his interviews more than I enjoy him as Edward (don't get me wrong, I love Robward!). And I also love everything else he does and can't wait for his future movies!!

I'm not into fictional characters, so I prefer Rob. Although he himself sometimes seems to be like a fictional character. Dream guy! Just everything about him is so likeable - his style and his mostly fan-friendly personality. And how could I not mention that he is a great musician. Perfect! Or, I could say it in Estonian - suurepärane!
