Ilovethemovies , just you drop my words. Even I'm not really interested in Bella. Only in Edward... Sorry, but I'm addicted... by Rob first, by Bel Ami, by Eric Packer , by Edward... By the way I saw Bel Ami yesterday. My opinion is: after I saw the 1947's film, and the 2005's tv-film - this was the best, and not only because Rob. With the all actresses/actors, directors.
Hi twmmy, I am glad you loved Bel Ami. I knew it had to be better than the 1947 film w/George Sanders, but I have not seen neither Rob's version or the 2005 version. I will have to rent the 2005 version and I will see Rob on Pay per view in May. You lucky woman, you got to see it first. I am also addicted to Rob, sad but true, however not to the Twilight Saga, just to the first Twilight film.
The 2005 version is on the youtube, it's a french-belgian-german tv film. Quite good, and Bel Ami is a real south-french type. He is handsome, but not the way as Rob's Bel AMi. If I were a literature teacher I would take my students to see Rob's Bel Ami... loved the film very much. The whole. Maybe I 'll write a review on the ImdB board tomorow.
Please do, twmmy! I'd love to have your honest opinion on Rob's performance.
As for the teaser, it's nice. Not much to rave about, although I do appreciate the little clip of the deer, which is cute homage/reference to the first film. I think Bill's very clever for that.

Not nearly as exciting as Robert's Cosmopolis Teaser Trailer. However, I do love Robert's velvety voice. So Smooth.

Bill had several homages to the first film I really liked. The wedding music and then when Bella was turning.
I've enjoyed Rob in everything I've seen him, including Little Ashes, which I thought I'd hate, but actually loved. He's so talented.
