what?? where does he look skinny? honestly without even having read those comments anywhere i already know who the people are that say that...it`s always the same but weirdly they never say it about the other person they are fans of...i guess they will be bitter forever...
@live guest so true. he looks great and custome looks amazing too. i am actually glad that we only got a few glimpses of the whole filming process and not too much. makes me so much more excited about the film.
Hopefully the Indiana Jones reboot rumors won't go flying off again because of this photo. I love these costume fitting pics as well as any movie filming pics that come from Lost City of Z set. Rob was right when he said his body is made for these movies. He looks sooo good in period piece films.
And keep in mind that this may only be a costume fitting and may not be the final outfit to be worn in the film, but yes it's very "Raiders" I can just see the rumors all over again about Indiana Jones reboots.
The general public is so fickle. After this movie comes out, he'll go to the head of the list of actors who would be right to be Indy in a reboot.
But this film is going to be more than just some action/adventure popcorn movie. This movie has depth. And Rob is not jonesing to be the new Indiana Jones. He's busy creating Henry Costin for TLCOZ, working with the directors on his bucket list, carving his own path, not dancing to someone else's tune. He's in charge of his career and his private life, and I think he's doing well with both. Go Rob! Continue to slay.
Hmm, considering that Charlie Hunnam is the lead, and his character was the more adventorous, I think the general public would think about Charlie as Indy. Sorry, this is my opinion after reading the book.
I thought those Indiana Jones rumors were pretty successfully squashed. From what I remember reading, it seems more likely that it'll be Chris Pratt. His box office receipts in the last couple of years make him highly sought after. I think he'd do a good job with Indiana's smugness. I'd go see it!
Although I'm not one to pretend to know Rob's mind, it seems like he's more content playing interesting characters. Not that Indiana Jones isn't interesting, but it's been done if that makes sense.
The script is a bit different than the book, and having read the script, I can say that the way Charlie Hunnam will play Col. Fawcett is not anything close to Indiana Jones. He's a military man, with all that implies: rigid, orderly, stiff and no nonsense.
The character Rob plays is the one the audience will identify with. As he was in The Rover, Rob will be the heart and soul of TLCOZ, and Charlie will be more like Guy Pearce's character. And Rob is involved in even more stunts in the jungle scenes than Charlie is (involving wild animals, narrow escapes, etc). In this case, the supporting role is the much flashier one.
Charlie will have more screen time, because they set up the story by showing him spending time with his family before the expeditions. But he's not necessarily going to be display the Indiana Jones kind of humor or boldness Harrison Ford did.
Apparently there won't be a recasting of Indiana Jones to even worry about: http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2015/10/26/producer-frank-marshall-rules-out-recasting-indiana-jones/
The plot to the Claire Denis sci-fi flick Rob is starring in next year Margarita,he's wanted to work with her for years, she's a French film director and he's doing a space adventure film w/her tentatively titled "High life",it's all over the web sweetie, check out RobPat360.
@Alesia Ah, ok... You meant the same film... Thank you!! ^.^ Thing is I'm used to people writing without punctuation or bad grammar; and you pretty much have to figure out what they were wanting to say... But it seems not with your writing happens that... ;-)
I would love to see hem together if Rob's schedule permits. I see a certain blog is not very happy with her being there and it's a shame they think that way. Is LCOZ supposed to wrap this week?
@live guest and @No one special the word is that he's supposed to start shooting "Good time" in NYC in November which is this coming Sunday so my guess is he should be done in Colombia Saturday but your guess is as good as mine.
@Alesia ... Friday... I think Saturday is clear... ;-) And about Patricia Arquette, looking for a video of Rob, I found one when the interviewer tells her that Rob loves her, and she blushes and begin nervously laughing... XD ... I guess you've seen it already...
Yes Margarita, the interviewer told Patricia Arquette that she was Rob's first movie star crush and she was very flattered and loved the idea of Rob crushing on her, and if you have never seen it you should watch her and Christian Slater in Quentin Tarantino's "True Romance" it's a really good action flick w/an Oscar worthy small role by Brad Pitt that is absolutely hilarious!!
Oh, I'm not sure I've ever seen that... But I'll check... :) ... Thank you!! And yes, she's beautiful... although I don't like some of her projects, I do appreciate her beauty...

Marilyn, I couldn't be more than 100% in agreement with your comment.

ReplyDeleteOh and I forgot to mention Patricia Arquette is joining the cast of "High Life" and now the plot is back to the inmates looking for resources.
ReplyDeleteHuh??... What plot are you referring to??... :-o
