"I can probably name 10 actors who've been compared to Robert Pattinson," Irons said at the film's Hollywood premiere. "So it's an honor -- I think he's doing very well for himself, he's got some amazing projects coming out -- so it's a bit of an honor, but I think everyone's an individual. But it's nice to be likened to him."
As for the notion that all up-and-coming British actors in Hollywood hang out together, he joked, "We do. England's a very small country. We all live together. We all know each other. We all know the Queen."

such a nice guy... what's the matter with those journalists who can't help themselves talking to all the young English actors about Rob?(can't blame them) especially poor Max LOL.. he has got sense of humor too "we all know the Queen":D
ReplyDeleteITA, just me, they have this fixation on Rob. As much as I like hearing things like this from other actors, it is not natural, meaning, this should be their moment, they should not constantly be compared to anyone else even Rob. The journalists, if you can call them journalists, have no creativity in their questions anymore. It is rare to hear someone offer something other than comparisons.
ReplyDelete*nods nods*... And it's worse in Promo time... I mean Rob promo time, the same question once and again and again, and he smiling thinking what to f$<>?%#? answer...
ReplyDeleteBut Mac got out of it nicely... Groaning inside, but being nice...
And yes! Why is it THAT important? I mean, is it the accent? 'cause Australian is sexier!...
:P
every journalist always ask about Rob even to his costars, thats how mystic he is
