The new David Cronenberg’s film COSMOPOLIS starring Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Samantha Morton and Mathieu Amalric will be released on the 31st of May in Portugal. COSMOPOLIS is one of the most buzzed about films of the latest years being chosen by millions of MTV viewers as the most expected film of 2012. The new Cronenberg film is an adaptation of Don DeLillo’s story about Eric Packer a 28 year-old billionaire who crosses Manhattan for a haircut.

Lucky people of Portugal, we will not have Bel Ami until June, and they have Cosmopolis in May. When it is released, anyone from Portugal will have to let us know if it lives up to one of the most anticpated movies of 2012. I hope it meets with the viewers expectations.
ReplyDeleteJust the poster alone, gives me chills. This film is gonna be BAD ASS, and I would not be surprised...after all the accolades and praise that Rob's performance is receiving from the Director, Cast, and Crew, if Rob just blows everyone away, and gets mentioned early into next season's rounds of Award's. Talkin' GOLD, baby!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the gold, but ITA w/you joanb102001 that it will be bad ass. It is the movie I want to see most of all of Rob's three films that will be released this year. I love indie films and I love Cronenberg and of course I love and admire Robert. So it is a trifecta for me for certain. I am wishing on stars, crossing body parts, praying, and chanting that this film be such a huge success for Robert critically and possibly make more money than any Cronenberg film, but I believe it will be hard to top "The Fly". I am fist pumping with you on this.
ReplyDeleteAnd we had Bel Ami in February...
ReplyDeleteAnd Rob as Georges is pretty great:)
All rob fans should be proud, just like me and I know you will love the movie
I promise I´ll make a comment as soon Cosmopolis premieres in Portugal. Just a fun fact (since I´m a fan of Kristen too)and hoping I will not be misinterpreted, May 31st is also the day of the release of OTR and SWATH.
Hugs from Portugal
