What kind of a ring does a vampire share with his lady love if he wants to spend eternity with her? We have a peek at the ring that Edward (Robert Pattinson) gives Bella (Kristen Stewart) in 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.'
The ring, described in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling books as being Victorian in style, features an oval face set with diamonds.
In the photo, you can also see the charm bracelet described in Eclipse, the novel. Bella wears the bracelet with two charms -- a crystal heart given to her by Edward, and a small wooden wolf that was a gift from Jacob (Taylor Lautner).
In the film, Bella continues her quest to evade vampire Victoria (played in 'Eclipse' by Bryce Dallas Howard), who is bent on vengeance after Edward killed her main squeeze James in the first 'Twilight.' Bella is also confronted with a choice -- does she want to spend eternity with vampire Edward, or will she choose a human life with werewolf Jacob?
'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' hits theaters on June 30.

Not even Rob's pretty hands can make that ugly ass ring look any better. And why does the bite scar look bubbly?
ReplyDeleteRob has the most beautiful hands. Piano hands. Wish that was me. Got out my BD book and that's the ring that is described, very Victorian. Wasn't the crystal on the bracelet really a diamond almost told by Alice?
ReplyDeleteim not sure what to make of Summit's claim that this is not a still, that it's a screencap from the trailer... this picture definitely doesn't look like a screencap to me... *confused*
ReplyDeletelayna.lane - I agree. I commented on that the other day - and maybe it was done with Stephanie Meyer's approval - but it is really unattractive. The scar does look bubbly....odd
ReplyDeleteYep, I have been re-reading Eclipse, and the ring does look like how it's described, so if it's ugly it's the authors fault! :P Also, the charm IS a diamond, but Bella thinks Alice couldn't be right when she almost tells on Edward, or when Jacob says of course Edward gave her a rock, because she thinks it would be like 5 carets or something crazy like that. In my opinion, the ring does not look Victorian, but who am I to complain? I am so excited to see this movie, regardless!
ReplyDeletecant wait to watch this movie.... especially this scene, june 30 pls come soon
