Maybe Rob does not want to subjected to the humor of Russell Brand! I for one do not enjoy being the butt of other peoples jokes! Yea for Rob! don't sit there and take it! I would leave and have them call me when it's time to present the trailer!
I freaked out once I saw this and so I checked the MTV VMA's website and Rob IS sitting next to Kristen. They can't change it because they have to have the cameras set at different locations to see each actor's individual reaction.
