Jamie Dornan Mentions Rob in an Interview with Variety

Jamie Dornan recently talked a bit about Rob in an interview with Variety


“I’ve been around Rob long enough to see what it’s been like for him,” Dornan says in the cover story from this week’s issue of Variety. “I don’t know if it’s been a benefit to witness that. Whatever that is.”

Dornan then added: “By the way, it’s not the same thing. We’re not the ‘Twilight’ franchise. We’re a different thing. Whatever my situation is, it’s going to be different from Rob’s. They are incomparable.”

What did Dornan and Pattinson talk about? “I don’t remember what we talked about the last time I saw him,” Dornan says. “I think we just got drunk.”

    I reckon there would be even more hysteria if Rob was playing the part. I personally think Rob is making better choices though.

      Agree...
      This might not "sound" that nice, but... I think he is thinking more on acting-career-mode for pleasure, than break-through-acting-mode for recognition...
      Did I explain myself?... :-)...
      I agree with you: his choices seem much more mature, and his roles are deeper than before... so much more interesting...

      I think his acting has been really posh and polished lately... And that just makes me quite "mother-proud" (regardless we're the same age)...
      And I don't think a role as the famous "Fifty" would suit him, right now... He'd do it perfectly, yes... But I feel as if the hype this role means, is just not in his priorities list...

      And Jamie is seriously handsome... which is fair for the eye... ^.^

    I have already read the fan fiction of Fifty, so I don't miss Rob in this role. Good luck to Jamie, but to me there is no comparison.
