Rob and The Rover Nominated at the 4th AACTA Awards


Rob and The Rover cast and crew have been nominated at the 4th AACTA Awards.

Rob has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

- Guy Pearce for Best Lead Actor.
- Susan Prior for Best Supporting Actress.
- David Michôd for Best Direction.

- Sam Petty, Des Kenneally, Justine Angus, Brooke Trezise, Francis Ward Lindsay and Robert Mackenzie for Best Sound.
- Antony Partos and Sam Petty for Best Original Music Score.
- Jo Ford for Best Production Design.

The 4th AACTA Awards Ceremony & Official After Party will be held at The Star Event Centre, Sydney on Thursday 29 January, 2015.

    Outstanding! I'm so thrilled for Rob. It's great to see his name teamed with a Best Supporting Actor nod, even for such a new awards organization. He so deserves it--he was incredible in The Rover.

    And I can't help but wonder if Twigs will go with him, since she happens to have shows there that week. It might be the first red carpet they walk together!

    L Willie, actually AACTA Awards are the Australian equivalent of the American Academy Awards and a continuum of the AFI Awards which were held since 1958.

    Go Rob!!! So happy for him and Guy and all the crew!

    Marika, thanks--that makes more sense! I'd read that this is the 4th year of the awards, but not that it was a continuation of a longstanding award. Anyway, go Rob!

    Happy that Rob got nominated. Really L Wille are you the only one who still believes he's with FKA, It was all PR to promote her album. You see he hasn't been with her since before thanksgiving. `

    I'm thrilled for Rob and The Rover Team. Every one of them deserves the nomination but naturally I'm sooooooo happy for Rob. Seeing his name there makes me so proud to be his supporter. Fingers and everything crosses. Congrats.
